Join the CT Guidance revolution!

BIOMET 3i and SimPlant - Navigator System US Educational Programs

CT Guidance technology has transformed conventional methods of dental implant treatment planning, surgery, provisionalization and the final restoration. In the last few years, there has been a growing acceptance and availability of three-dimensional imaging to better utilize diagnostic information. Clinicians are getting involved with CT Guidance in order to improve the precision of their dental implant cases, while being on the cutting edge of technology.

ScannoGuide Preparation

The ScannoGuide also known as Radiological Template or CT Guide, is the first and probably the most important ingredient for a successful SimPlant implementation. Press here for a pictorial documentation of the preparation of a ScannoGuide for a Tooth-supported SurgiGuide. Advanced SimPlant users can use the Virtual Teeth feature to mimic a tooth setup and skip (in some cases) this ScannoGuide step.

From Real to Virtual to Real

Click here for a series of pictures showing several tests made in Israel to check the accuracy of the software and stereolithographic models compared to the real bone morphology. In these tests the Bone-supported SurgiGuide was also cut into two to see how each part fits in the jaw model and on top of the bone itself. I believe the pictures are enough, no explanations are needed.

SimPlant Israel FAQ - SimPlant Documents

In this FAQ you will find a compilation of all the questions (and answers) I was exposed the past months during the preparations for launching SimPlant in Israel, including the last Conference and SimPlant Kickoff.

Thanks to all the questions and help to get the (I hope) correct answers.

Special thanks to Dr. Philippe Tardieu, teacher, mentor and main spirit behind everything we do.

I will continue to update this FAQ on a continuous basis. More questions, critics, comments, etc. are most welcome. Just drop me an email to this address. --Thanks
