The New HAPro Website

After a great work from Uriel Gross, the HAPro website is finally online at: http://www.hapro.co.il/.

HAPro Ltd. founded in January 2010 by Fanny Gross and Philip Segal, offers state-of-the-art digital dental technologies and services, from SimPlant for CT view and implant planning, surgical guides (SurgiGuides) from Materialise Dental and SAFE systems (as The Navigator System from BIOMET3i), to final restoration infrastructures from Biomain.

Dual Scan vs. Single Scan

Dual Scan versus Single Scan. In fact, this is a single scan radio-opaque scannoguide masked as base-plate (green) and teeth (red) and again as a single (dual-scan like) stent (all green) for comparison purposes.

Dual Scan: A radiolucent stent with radiographic markers (Gutta-percha or other). Two CTs are needed, patient+stent and stent alone.

Single Scan: A radio-opaque stent (base-plate 10% Barium Sulfate - teeth 30% Barium Sulfate). One CT patient+stent is needed.

First Case in Israel using a Reduction Guide

Thanks to the initiative of Dr. Avraham Finkelman the first case in Israel using a Reduction Guide as a preliminary step for using a bone-supported SurgiGuide is undergoing. You can see HERE the preliminary pictures. As the case advance more pictures will be added.

SimPlant Study Club - Carlton Tel Aviv

Yesterday (31 Aug 2010) we had probably the best SimPlant event (Study Club) in the past years. Press HERE for the pictures.

Thanks to Dr. Barry Marshak who headed the meeting and to all the participants.

This is the way to go: To offer an open platform to share knowledge and experience (good and bad), by the SimPlant users themselves.

Question: Can this be done via the Web? Forums? Webmeetings? Video-conferences? I'm not sure. Maybe the answer is: You Can't. There is no replacement to people sharing the same interest getting together...

iTero over SimPlant first case

Thanks to Dr. Ronen Dekalo (SimPlant owner) and Dr. Michael Abba (iTero owner) the first case combining SimPlant and an intra-oral 3D scan with iTero was made possible.
